For a dispossessed Veteran seeking a path out of homelessness, that first step is to call the main line for the Robert J. Dole VA Medical Center Behavior Health Department at 316.651.3621. Skilled social workers can assess the Veteran’s individual circumstances and guide them toward caring and compassionate assistance. Transportation to the Robert J. Dole VA Medical Center can even be arranged for the Veterans.


Veterans who qualify for VA services can be enrolled, if necessary, and critical primary care services can be administered to stabilize patients in crisis. If a Veteran does not qualify for VA services, social workers can refer the Veteran to a number of community organizations, including the following listed below for assistance.
